To be honest? Me, too. And then it turned out to be the loveliest fandom in the world, and I felt incredibly guilty. And then I wrote about eighty thousand words of fanfiction for it. Whoops.

When I joined, I honestly believed that I would never write RPS. Oh, past self, how naïve you were.

I suppose it's easier to distance yourself from the fact that it's about real people when you consider the quantity of crackfic.

It's awkward, isn't it? You feel ashamed because of what it is, and then you feel awful for being ashamed as it is such a kind and caring fandom.

Why couldn't it be full of tinhats like I expected it to be?
