How far are you in? I watched the whole thing a while ago now and I really enjoyed it, some stuff I found a bit eh but overall I liked it and really want to see where it goes since I think they got a second season?

I love the whole cast and I'm not sure who my fave character is but I do really love Kala, Capheus and Riley(also Nomi is great and her and Neets are adorable and Lito is a fantastic melodramatic baby).

I know from my own perspective I would not have the first clue on how to write the whole sense8 thing at all, it's like telepathy ramped up to 11 and then some. Plus I'm just not finding myself craving fic, I think because the show gives me everything I want with the couples I like so I don't feel the need to explore it in fanon? (Though I've thought about seeing if any Sun/Capheus exists before now, but then I end up forgetting).

The fandom seems to mostly be gifsets and occasional rambling posts than fic, but I haven't checked back in a while so idk at how much quieter it's gotten.

I finished season 1. As I said, I'm not a big fan of the BPO stuff, though the way the cluster worked together to save Riley was utterly fantastic. I'm so glad everyone got a moment to shine! What is the stuff that you found eh? I have to admit I don't care all that much for Capheus scenes at home; I utterly adore him in scenes with the other sensates (he's so adorably optimistic and happy!) but I felt it dragged when the show focused on his live. But then without those scenes we wouldn't have gotten all these great Sun moments, so. I hope that maybe we'll see more Capheus/Kala bonding in the next season; given all the meds his mother has to take maybe Kala could help them with her pharmaceutical knowledge.

I found Riley's backstory also sort of meh, to be honest. It felt a bit forced to me. I do like her and her relationship with Riley, though.

I just want more of the stuff we see in the show as fic: the cluster living their lives seperately but being connected to and supportive of one another, helping each other out even if it's just in small ways. And of course outsider POV fic on the sensates, because I'm a sucker for outsider POV fics.

I think I've seen some Sun/Capheus fics on AO3! I haven't read them (I see them more in a protective ass-kicking big sister/little brother sort of way), but I've seen a small handful.

I liked the overarching plot but I'll agree that most of the best stuff was seeing the sense8's help each other in their day-to-day lives, that was really nice and meant that we got to see a lot of different perspectives(and one of the things I really loved about this show was all the different locations and the fact that they actually went there too).

Wolfgang's stuff kind of bored me a bit, I didn't dislike the guy and I wanted to like his and Kala's relationship more than I ended up doing so. I also liked Will well-enough but otherwise wasn't amazingly taken with him. Oh and the birthing scene had me almost crying with laughter, that shit was ridonkulous, especially with how Nomi's mother had a C-section because of course the mother who is a horrid person didn't have a natural birth.

Awww see I loved all of Capheus's scenes, he is just so sweet and the rapport he has with Sun is great and one of my fave cluster relationships in the show(hence the shipping it a bit) but yeah him with the other sense8's was definitely wonderful to watch. Riley took the show to grow on me I'll be honest, but by the end I was really taken with her.

Oh you know, outsider PoV could be pretty interesting because I bet that shit is weird to watch.

Oh well at least there is some, might have a look for that later.
