Yet again, I've had a guy insist that I'm going to cheat on my SO because he isn't super wealthy and doesn't constantly buy me shit. It doesn't matter that I haven't, doesn't matter that I've said I won't, it's INEVITABLE. Someday, I'll cheat on him, even if I think I won't and have no intention too because I'm a woman and not in control of such things.

Sorry bros, I know my mind and heart better than you do, and the reason you believe in AWALT is because you carefully edit every instance that goes against it. It didn't happen, it's the calm before the storm, or it's a trick. You're conspiracy theorists, and your favorite conspiracy is women.

Yeah, basically what that says about him is that he doesn't believe HE can attract a woman and keep up a relationship without money and lots of presents. And he's probably right, because it sounds like any woman would need a great deal of sugar to coat that pill.

What a weird thing to think.

Most men will never be rich, so it's kind of shooting yourself in the foot to believe it's the only way to get and keep a girlfriend, even if it might be an attractive fantasy since wealth is, theoretically, attainable (but then so is Not Being a Douche, so IDK man).

Well, the reason why guys think that you can't get a woman unless you're rich (or hot) is not because they're aspiring to be rich so they can date, it's because they're looking for an excuse as to why they're forever alone. It can't be their bitterness, misogyny or any other aspect of their unpleasant personalities, so it must be their lack of money! Yeah, that's the ticket... if only women were less shallow, they'd be drowning in pussy. It's all those hateful superficial bitches' fault wharrgarble evil feminism arrglllebarrrgle, etc. etc.

Man, shit like that makes me so mad.

Why are there so many guys out there who insist on telling me what I really want, or who lecture women as a whole on what we really want. (Or go around telling other guys what women want because they're an expert, and don't listen to those silly women who tell you otherwise, they don't really know what they want, or they're in denial. Like you can be an expert on women the way you can be an expert on dogs. Barf.)
