Whenever. My family has always done it sometime in the first couple weeks of December, or a bit later if they're busy. This is my first year not living at home, and I'm not super anxious about it since I'll be spending Christmas Eve/Day with my parents anyway, but I'd like to put up a tree and I probably would have gone shopping for a decent fake tree this weekend if I was still sort of sick. Next weekend or maybe later this week I'm going to try to do it.
