Re: Misheard lyrics

For years, I did not realize that in Toto's song 'Africa', that the line was NOT "rising like a lepress above the Serengeti." A lepress, of course, being an obscure word that means a female leopard. In fact, the line is "rising like Olympus above the Serengeti." Oops.

My favorite misheard lyrics aren't my own but came from a website devoted to misheard lyrics. Look at these two gems:

- "Shamu the Mysterious Whale!" (instead of "she moves in mysterious ways"), and
- "the ants are my friends; they're blowing in the wind."
