FUCK YOUR PLASTIC TREES

NEWSFLASH, F!S: YOUR PLASTIC XMAS TREES ARE WORSE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT THAN ACTUAL TREES. People think that getting a ~reusable~ fake tree will help more than omg cutting down precious trees. It's not. You would have to use the same fake tree for 10-15 years to offset the carbon production costs of making it. And the average family does not keep fake trees that long; they replace them every ~5 years, because of wear, and poor storage, and moving, and styles changing. At least the trees clearly benefit the earth while they're here before Christmas usage.

The only reason to get a fake tree is for allergy concerns. TYFYT.

We have been using the same plastic tree for 23 years now. It's still wonderful.
