Re: Ugh. Let's talk about periods

On my period now (but nearing the end). I used to think I was irregular as fuck, but after using a period tracker for a over a year I learned that my period just moves back a week every time.

AYRT
I've been tracking since March and my cycle days since then have been 41, 42, 66, 41, 61 and whatever will come after this. Sometimes though, I might get some PMS symptoms but not actually bleed and IDK what that's about. I should really get thee to a gyno, I'm just really nervous about it. I've never been sexually active, but I know there are other reason to be checked out at my age (33).

NAYRT:

PCOS is a very real possibility, anon. Please get to the doctor. It could be something easily treatable but potentially dangerous like that.

Yeah, 32 and same about the not sexually active thing, worried it's PCOS as the other anon mentioned, but that's kinda why I don't go. I'm scared! On the other hand it's kind of nice not having periods often, I think my record was 5 months without (because stress). Sigh. I finally have insurance again after years without so I'm kinda out of excuses to not go, but I dread the inevitable pills, diet/exercise advice, increased cancer and heart attack risk, and possibly finding out I'm infertile, even though I'd probably not make a great parent and anyway no one wants to fuck me (yeah should probably do something about depression/non-existent self-esteem while I'm at it.)
