I've had a period since the middle of May this year, it started 2 weeks after my IUD was put in for PCOS... it's showing signs of slowing down finally, but I think it might be another month or two before it's over and if it doesn't end by May of next year, I'm going to ask them to take it out. I've read about a handful of people who had a period as long as I've had and it stopping, but who knows with me.

Several years ago I was on Yaz for a couple of months and it would give me heavy ass periods (my periods are usually moderate with slight cramping), made it feel like my right ovary was exploding (I'm guessing it was doing that to the cysts), and I bleed through a tampon once because of it. I stopped taking it after that.

Dude, seriously? You'd wait until *May*? If i had a period for more than a month at a time i'd be 'nope'ing the fuck out of that. Sheesh.
