I'm also an aromantic asexual, and I kind of feel the same way. Buuuut at the same time, the kind of ace I am (autochoris-sexual/-romantic) is a kind that many people like to shit all over and claim doesn't exist (and yet I've been it for 28 years and counting, so). That makes me really hesitant to write anything off as "just being a special snowflake" or "just needs to claim some kind of identity to feel validated."
