Sup y'all, I'm commandeering Saturday night stream for this week.

First up is one of my favorite movies of all time, Om Shanti Om. A 1970's B-List Bollywood actor falls in love with an A-List superstar, comedy and drama ensues. In addition to being an awesome film, it also makes fun of a BUNCH of Bollywood stereotypes. Luckily Bollywood/Hollywood have a bunch of overlap (westerns, over the top action movies, chick flicks), so… yeah.

Okay, I'm doing a terrible job of selling this movie. Seriously though, it's awesome.

Then! Another one of my favorite movies, 3 Idiots. AKA a three-hour musical comedy/drama on why the modern education system is broken. (But LBR, everything in Bollywood is a three-hour musical comedy/drama.) Three best friends go to college, but after graduation one of the friends disappears forever. Years later the remaining two get a hint as to where he is and set off on a quest to find him.

Only two movies planned because they're both 3 hours each. If people are still around afterwards, might play some episodes of Miraculous Ladybug because that's my newest thing. Depends on whatever people suggest.

I've never been to stream, but I freaking LOVE Om Shanti Om. But then I'll watch just about anything with SRK in it.

That is because SRK is flawless.

I never watch streams, but I felt the need to leave some drive-by love for 3 Idiots. Such a fun movie.

I love 3 Idiots! Boyfriend showed it to me a couple of months ago.

Haha, love appreciated. It's why I put it as the 2nd movie, since its ending is just so great and upbeat and happy.

And yes, Aamir Khan. I showed Ghajini during my first Bollywood stream. At one point I think I'd managed to see pretty much every single film of his that was out at the time. Have fallen behind since with all his recent stuff. Whoops.

OMG I am so there! I love Om Shanti Om, especially Deepika Padukone! Never seen 3 Idiots, but have heard it's pretty great. Looking forward to my first F!S livestream!

It is unfair how pretty Deepika is. And 3 Idiots is definitely worth the watch. :D

But yeah, will love to see you there! Depending on your night/if you get busy and just want to watch 3 Idiots, we usually post in the thread of the stream of that day when one movie ends and we're about to watch the next. Based on the length of Om Shanti Om, we'll probably end up starting 3 Idiots around 9:30-10pm EST.

I AM NOT COMPETING WITH OTHELLIA! But we gotta get hype yo. Two fridays after next, CHAPTER 7. So we? ARE GONNA GET THROUGH THE REST!

Episode 3!: Anakin gets really fucking emo!

Episode 4: Anakin gets embarassed because he's been a bad father! Also he's Mufasa now. But the Joker shows up to ruin his day with a president of the united states who's also a federal fugitive!

WAIT A MINUTE NOODLES, You say, IF YOU ARE SHOWING 2-4 NOW, WHAT ABOUT NEXT WEEK? The answer issss THE STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL. It's December! It's PERFECT. But you gotta get through this first!
