Oh man I shipped the fuck out of these two back when I read the manga, I never did finish it all(hell I don't know if it ended) so I didn't find out what happened to them. I think maybe one of the movies sorted that out though?

Actually, there was a second anime series: "Inu Yasha: The Final Act" that covers the manga ending, but is a much shorter thing to get through. It's available on hulu and probably elsewhere, if you want to see the ending.

It's a good one, I think.

Aha! I'll have to see if I can track it down somewhere because I would like to know how it all ended officially.

Hulu has it for free I believe, if you're in the US. Netflix as well.

I'm not in the US so Hulu is definitely out. Oh but Netflix has it? Well I might just go have a scrounge on that in a bit and see if it's there.
