I disagree with you.

I still haven't played GS4 (I'm waiting for my local EB to call and tell me that it's arrived), but I honestly think it's plausible. I recently wrote a tl;dr post on my LJ about this, but I'll just reiterate a bit of it here...

I think that both of them need to develop, to grow up a bit post T&T. I think that all of the crap that happens in between T&T and AA:AJ is just the thing to help with that. After AJ they have something really important in common: they've both been through this crazy experience of having what defined them completely stripped away, and I think that's very powerful.

I'd love to see how they'd deal with it. Maybe it'd work and maybe it wouldn't, but I think it's worth exploring.

To each his or her own, though. I've got my shipper's hat on, and I totally see them as lobsters/penguins.

Mostly agreed, though I haven't played GS4 either. I'm hoping it arrives in the mail today.

I've always been of the opinion that they'd BOTH have a lot of growing to do for a relationship to be plausible. Otherwise... I don't know, Phoenix would be too naive for Edgeworth, and Edgeworth... Edgeworth has a lot of issues to work through. I don't see him as surviving in a stable relationship, if we're talking about the point he's at by the end of T&T.

Anyway. MY THOUGHTS ON YAOI, LET ME SHOW YOU THEM?

I completely agree with you on all counts. I don't think Edgeworth is ready for anything post-GS3 either.

On a somewhat related note, I've been stalking RPs lately, and your stuff on DDD is bloody awesome XD *fangirls*

I plan on playing it as soon as I get it. Unfortunately, I think there's been a delay with shipping it to Canada. Hopefully it'll be in by tomorrow.

And I know, right? I mean, I get it if people play GS4 and move on to other ships but you totally can't count out P/E.

Oh, I hope we get to see Edgeworth. I'll be so disappointed if we don't.

Haha, I hope you'll enjoy it. Apollo is seriously such a Phoenix fanboy, it's hilarious. And Phoenix totally isn't disappointing so far, gahhh ♥

And I agree. I can understand where a lot of the other ships can come from, but P/E have an entire history behind them, and a lot of people see the appeal. I personally can see them as friends, lovers, just about anything they need to be because of it. They have a lovely dynamic for it and I could tl;dr that but I'll spare you the ramble xD

I'm jealous that everyone's playing it. I'm finally actually excited about it, which is nice. I know what I'm doing with my weekend XD

I think we could all tl;dr about P/E, regardless of exactly what we might think their relationship is -- they're awesome characters with a totally epic story. Lovers or no.

...Plus, they're really quite funny at times, which is nice XD

Haha, I'm just about done with the third case. I've never played a game through so fast, and there are SO many openings for the old cast to have been helping it's not even funny. (With some imagination too of course.) I think people should give it a chance just to think up possibilities. I know Phoenix becoming a hobo is a turn-off, but in actuality, the only thing that's changed about him is his outlook on things-- he's still the Phoenix we know and love ;_;

Personally, I'm so impressed with ideas of future!Edgeworths (especially at pwdressingroom), my favorite being the Professor Edgey who hasn't been back in seven years. It's heartbreaking but oh MAN I can so see either that happen, or what my friend who plays Apollo there suggested, that Phoenix was too humiliated to tell them he'd been disbarred and they remained in the dark for a while.

AHHJSDHFJKSDHFKDS. Sorry, I'm like holding myself back from fangirling here. XD
