I have an aversion to writing main characters because you get so much information on them that it's harder to keep them IC. Phoenix, not so much, but you have his voice narrating so that's just... Argh.

See why my muses for Nick seem to be psychotic killer, teacher, and his college self but the last one kind of died. >___>

Yeah. Phoenix has a very defined and very... well, PHOENIX-Y mental snark that you really have to capture. XD;

psychotic killer? Uh. >_> Well that's interesting.

And yes, Mech Pilots. GyakuMECH... was me getting way in over my head. But it was fun while it lasted. And we had some great ideas. Just... I never wrote more than five chapters XD

Exactly. He's like super dorky, kind of cool, very sarcastic and argh. I'll stick to making up my victims and Godot's metaphors tyvm.

XD Well, not exactly. Phoenix de Killer, but still. He brings all the angst to the yard. >>

Ahhh, okay. The Phoenix De Killer line--gotcha. I was confused there >_>

Perhaps it was. Well, Godot was more cybernetic in GyakuMECH--the explosion that 'killed' him did quite a bit more damage than Dahlia's poison. Also, Dahlia had uploaded herself into an AI form after her death, and sort of lived on in Godot's mech/his visor, literally poisoning his brain 24/7.

I kinda love malevolent AIs. XD

...we had some great ideas :(
