When I first starting reading fanfic, it was all Self-insert 2nd POV/Main Character.

There was a writer who wrote about 4-6 different fics about one character, with many different OCs. The stories were full of anatomically incorrect sex and poorly characterized MC. However, due to the nature of the OCs, I often began to wonder if the author dealt with abuse herself. I hope she's okay. I also messaged her to let her know she had corrupted me (as this was the first time my 13 year old self had read anything explicit, and her stories were chock full of sex), but I was okay with that and I really liked her stories. I hoped her inbox was full, as she never responded and the fics were pretty old.

I really do hope she's okay.
