But when you sit there and gush about how they're so strong and you love how they have the guts to fuck up people's lives and destroy people to get their way , well that sounds pretty fucked up.

That's the whole appeal of villains for fuck's sake. They have a strong belief for their cause and confidence in their abilities. And yes, the guts to be complete assholes while knowing it. Just because I enjoy a villain doesn't mean I personally subscribe to whatever ideals they stand for. It's fiction and you totally can't seem to grasp the difference.
