But the writer is talking about the action of writing fic, which is present in the secret. Fic is by nature fandomy, unless you are going to say that "watching TV" is not fandom because surely, logically, within the context of fandomsecrets and a fandom site, they would mean they are watching something like FOX News? That's a large leap.

At least two people including me are disagreeing with you, so... *shrug* your opinion is your opinion.
