you kind of twist your perspective on the word "violence." to inflict violence is to harm, right? what joss whedon did was to harm China and Chinese people, including people of the Chinese diaspora because he took our culture and erased the people who made the culture.

Well, technically, violence refers to physical harm.

At least that's literally the only way I've ever seen it used...
