Well, you're not supposed to root for them? Tbh, I don't quite get OP's quibble aside from the fact that that they don't like the foreigners vs US dynamic (which is such a classic, fall back trope I can't even complain too much). Ambreigns continues to be well represented and as shippy as ever. Even more so, now that Roman is practically proposing to Dean in-ring with promos like "I feel like I've known you for all my life." I though he was going to get down on one one knee there for a second.

OP here. Maybe not "have to", but having some qualms about not doing it, yes. (I'm watching WWE for fun, not for fanatic purposes, lol.)

I boo LoN because they're heels and I'm a mark, and secretly cheer them because I love them and I'm glad they've been given something to do that's pretty fun. This is the Sheamus I've been wanting all year.

So, you should totally cheer for Roman, Dean and the Usos because they're the faces and you cheer the faces despite their country of origin. (They should add Neville to their stable.) And, savor that delicious Ambreigns while it lasts.

This secret is everything I'm against.

I love LoN and I'm getting sick of Ambreigns. Like, I'm not sick of Ambreigns to the point where I want them to break up, but I wish there were some other ships represented in fandom that aren't combos of ex-Shield members. At least LoN is bringing out the Barrett/Sheamus shippers. Ugh, and I'm still mad I missed the Sheamus love, however middling it is right now, by six months.

I wouldn't worry too much about the foreigners vs US dynamic. You are talking about a fan base that will chant "USA!" in favor of the babyfaces when only one person on that side is American. (Way to embarrass me, Dallas crowd, you assholes.) Plus, New Day is part of LoN and they're American.

Well, Sheamus is pretty kissy-kissy too with LoN, Barrett and Rusev especially. I love Sheamus' dorky, cute, oblivious character right now.

Ambreigns is so canon it's hard not to ship it. Trust me, it's still a ship of mine even when I'm sad that my otp gets no representation.
