Hm, I've only seen the first Episode of Samurai Flamenco so I can't really tell. But I think it shares some elements with Tiger And Bunny though it is more extreme than this one.

But it funnily plays with the many tropes superheroes managed to collect over all these years. And I think it does so very cleverly. Especially once the introduction arc is over and the bigger story comes into play.

And it gives its social commentary with a lightness that doesn't make it appear preachy.

Ooo, I adored Tiger and Bunny! It was extremely cute and fun while sometimes dealing with darker issues I didn't expect; it had a fair share of emotional moments. (That rang true to character and were surprisingly well written.)

So if it's anything like Tiger and Bunny then I imagine it'll be a good watch.

I see that there's currently 12 episodes and two OVA's, with four more planned. Is there not supposed to be a second season?
