Yes, this. I have five cats (four of them "oh, we can't let the poor cat stay out in the street" adoptions), so anymore would probably officially turn me into a cat hoarder (not that it is necessarily a number thing, but any more cats would mean they wouldn't get the attention they deserve).

One of them got lost a few months ago and had to be picked up from a shelter. I still feel so sorry for one of the other cats there which climbed into our cat carrier when my cat was less than eager to (she hates that thing) and didn't want to come out again. The people running the shelter were all joking around "yes, please take her along as well" and calling her terror cat because she got aggressive towards the other cats because she wanted all the attention for herself. Obviously we couldn't inflict a cat like that on our others but yeah... XD (and I'm still a bit pissed at the people at the shelter for calling the cat like that in front of visitors. Way to ruin that cat's (and she was a black cat too) already slim chances of being adopted... :( )

So yes, too many feelings about cats at shelters to visit shelters. :(
