I haven't played it but I saw all the cut scenes. I didn't agree with him leading an orc army and all that implied but I thought him having a wife and daughter was fine. I was on the fence about him haunting the human guy. I kind of like the idea of them working together like that but Tolkien doesn't work that way. Didn't care for the ending though. It's a nice AU basically.

I still haven't played, but I enjoyed most of the cut scenes. I didn't mind the wife and daughter. But some of the characterization of him does feel wrong. Helping Sauron after he found out about the One Ring, for example? NO.

Can I just voice my agreement with your opinion?

Actually that makes me want to ask Valandhir if she finished the game and what she thought. She handles Celebrimbor in our RP.
