I was reminded of a few reading these comments - guys who acted possessive around me or came on way too strong, and people (male and female) who latched onto me as a friend because I was nice to them and they were desperate. I think those are pretty universal experiences, especially that second one.
One in particular that I get every now and then is meeting a guy through YGO (and I meet a loooot of guys through YGO, the player base is 99% male) who thinks I'm the hottest girl he ever met because I play YGO. Like I've literally had people say "you're a girl?? ....who DUELS? that's hot!" My response tends to be something like "those are your standards? really?" and backing away.
(Ironically, I met my current bf through YGO. But he didn't, you know, try to hit on me when we first met. We were friends for months before there was even interest on either of our parts. Weird guys who will bang anything with a single common interest and a vagina: take notes.)

Fortunately, experiences like this are not the norm. This sort of thing, and outright sexism ("You got beat by a GIRL!" or one guy who actually ragequit the game because he was so upset I beat him and yes, he did say it's because I'm female that he was upset) definitely happen, but the number of cool, decent, fun people I meet outweighs them, which is why I keep playing :)
I find that people who react like the guy in the comic are likely to be younger, and likely to have very little actual experience with ladies. Those who realize we're not actually aliens with mysteriously attractive bits don't typically behave like that.

Also, one time on Kongregate, which is funny because Kong isn't as lopsided in its M/F ratio as those other things tend to be (or at least are on the surface - I'm sure there are more women playing FPS than is readily apparent), but once in a game chat room (as opposed to the general room I usually go to which is probably close to 50% female) some guy was like "Raichu wants to bang ___" (some male character or person, I don't remember who) and I was like "nah he's not my type" but made some comment about some other kind of guy being my type, and the guy was like "omg you're GAY" and I was like "nope" and this went back and forth because he thought it was more likely that a gay guy would show up on his not-even-super-male-dominated flash game website than a straight girl, and by the time he finally figured it out we was pissed and other people in the room were laughing.
