Re: NO!
(Anonymous) 2015-12-08 02:15 am (UTC)(link)Re: NO!
(Anonymous) 2015-12-08 02:25 am (UTC)(link)You'd be paying almost $70 for that, at the least. People have done calculations and you'd be able to buy Fallout 4 Pip Boy package twice over just getting Chrono Trigger and FFVI. I'd rather pay about $40-50 an episode for each episode being a completely polished full game's worth of content that's added onto the original file like an MMO patch (what they'll likely do) than them rushing it and squeezing it into a single 'disc' just to please cheap-ass fanbrats who know jack shit about the industry.
Re: NO!
(Anonymous) 2015-12-08 02:43 am (UTC)(link)$69.99 is a pretty typical price for new epic games, by the way. I don't know why you put that in scary italics because that's absolutely what I'd expect to pay. And paying $50 for four, five episodes, how in the world is that better?!
You're right, they should not rush it. But that's up to Square Enix how soon they want to milk this cash cow, no one has a gun to their head and is demanding they do it in a year. Cheap-ass fanbrats, are you joking? For wanting a completed game? And, gasp, one that's actually even slightly reminiscent of the original? Do you not play any video games at all or something? Because I think you're the only person in all of ever who thinks releasing an RPG in episodes is even slightly a decent or logical idea.
Re: NO!
(Anonymous) 2015-12-08 03:10 am (UTC)(link)You're cheap because you don't want to pay them for the extensive labor that is going to go into this. You're a fanbrat because you WANT YOUR GAME NOW NOWN OWNO WNOW like a small child and can't fathom them selling. You're spoiled by thing like Undertale being made on $300 and selling for $10.
Re: NO!
(Anonymous) 2015-12-08 03:26 am (UTC)(link)And no, you silly anon. I want a complete game that is good, otherwise I will not buy it. And I don't want it "now". I don't really want Square Enix to do this at all because their versions of Final Fantasy have been linear, dull, badly-plotted, poorly-characterized pieces of garbage, and that especially includes their versions of Final Fantasy VII. Your comments throughout this entire thread have been so fucking funny because you keep saying shit like "entitled" and whatnot. Well, no shit, customers don't owe entertainment companies a penny, they don't have to buy badly made, incomplete products that are desperate cash pulls at a tired, kicked-to-death game.
