(Anonymous) 2015-12-08 02:56 am (UTC)(link)Game companies scrape by on DLC and micro-transactions and cutting dev costs where they can by doing things like recycling assets. (That's why there's a new AC every year. It's cheap compared to developing new IPs.)

(Anonymous) 2015-12-08 03:17 am (UTC)(link)I mean, I don't pay any attention at all to gaming as an industry, but if prices for AAA titles are the same in nominal dollars, that would mean they're actually cheaper in real dollars.
