Considering that they still sell games I would say that they do make games that people find enjoyable as they haven't gone bankrupt yet.

People like different things, dearie, and not everyone are stuck in the 90's. Go back to the original if you are so worried.

"People like different things"

Something you oddly seem to stick your nose up at! After all, you're the one getting so shockingly offended that people don't like what they've heard about the FFVII remake.

And people liking or buying things does not make them good games, or we'd all have to respect Twilight as a masterpiece. And no, I don't play only 90's games. I play games modern games that are good, so no, not much Square Enix these days.

My point still stands. Go back to the original if you are worried.

That's not a point though. That's you trying to shut down criticism as somehow illegitimate.

It is as much of a point as anything you have said so far.

But you have automatically decided that, because it's not an exact 1:1 copy of FFVII with better graphics, that it's a horrible game.

Quit stroking your Bethesda boner and maybe realize that games are expensive as hell to make and that a bunch of ignorant fucks who know nothing about the gaming industry and how little it pays whining about how they aren't getting catered to isn't the end of the world because you're certainly not going to listen to anything other than, "Anon-san, why don't we make this game to your 100% specifications?"

I don't recall ever stating my reasons to you. But since you asked so nicely, yeah, since the Compilation was a piece of shit and the Square Enix Final Fantasies sucked, yeah, I'd say the chance of Square Enix pulling a FFVII remake sucking are pretty high. That they're making it episodic isn't really the nail in the coffin, at this point that's just hilarious in its own stupidity.

Also lol, I never said games weren't expensive to make? What I find funny is that you think good, expansive games are impossible to make, the point is, they've been done and they've been ridiculously successful. "Catered" to? Are you kidding? Of course a game company should make games for the fans, they're the ones who are going to buy the games after all (or not). And you're the one getting butthurt that people don't like it, you seem to think people are obligated to spent money on bad games just because ~it's a lot of work to make them~.

To say that the Compilation sucked is a subjective statement. I for one enjoyed most of it (Never got around to DoC so can't comment on that). And it isn't episodic in the way a Telltale game is, they've already said each part will be like a full game, and that is all we have learned about that so far. So no need to be negative. For all we know that means that they are remaking the rest of the Compilation as well (making the parts original game + compilation + ??).

At the moment the only fan seem to want them to please is yourself, so I agree with the other anon that you seem to want a game catered to yourself. If you think it'll be a bad game, don't buy it. Easy as that.
