36- FUCKING SECONDED. I don't have a problem with using official artwork in icons, but fanart? No. I'd be SO PISSED if someone used my art for icons without asking, so I don't do it myself. If they asked, maybe, but if not? NO.

So the original mangaka doesn't have the right to be pissed because they got published? Please. It's all people using other people's art!

I'm not an icon maker (and I wouldn't want to use fanart even if I was - I prefer the original), but isn't the situation the same for the official artist? Wouldn't they be just as angry when people use their art?
