7. OMG BYOUSOKU 5CM. I LOVE YOU.
See, his love was pure and everything...but he couldn't move on. He ruined his life because he wouldn't move on. It wasn't that he "didn't give up"...he never tried looking for Akari. Akari moved on. I have a hard time knowing which one to admire more.

32. I wouldn't have minded H/G at ALL if it had been handled better. I mean...we come off of OotP with the messy Cho thing...and in HBP, alluvasudden it's like WHOAOMGSEXUALATTRACTIONTOGINNY. Big fat bzuh?!
And yeah...Ginny was a GREAT character. By the end of the series, she turned into a Sue. It really was a shame. (Also, Harry's Oedipus complex much? Ew.)

Yeah... while watching it, that didn't really occur to me, but afterwards I thought about it and went "... wow, that's a really long time to be hung up on your childhood sweetheart."

Certainly. I certainly don't envy him, and if I were in his place, I would have certainly taken a different tack, but still. His love was beautiful, even if he utterly failed at expressing (and coping with) that love.
