13: The idea of girl!Mello gives me rabid plot bunnies like there's no tomorrow. You're right, right, right: it would have been so cool. Stupid shortage of awesome women in canon.

26. Near fans unite! I loved him pretty much right away when I first read the manga (snark FTW!), but I have to admit, the reaction to the one-shot makes me happy. Now I get to be like, "I told you he was going to grow up smokin' hot." :) And less character-bashing is always good.
