That's only the second piece of DW comic art I've seen (the other was on another recent secret), and personally I've no interest in reading the comic, just cause the art is so...ack. It just makes them all look so weird.

If the secret-maker hadn't said it was official art I would've never thought it was. (I wish it wasn't.) x.x

Heh, good, good. My nefarious plan seems to be working. Soon people will demand an artist who has good figures and faces, even if they can't keep the machinery on model quite so brilliantly... *Burnsian finger-tap*

I actually didn't know there was a comic till that secret.

I'd love to read a DW comic (cause comics are just sort of generally cool), but that art...I approve of your nefarious plan. >=D

Well, there's always the comics in the Doctor Who Magazine. And I think they collect them into "storybooks" later (man, I want to get my hands on some of the Nine and early Ten comics). Plus, y'know, all the classic comics.

Actually, the same company putting out the new comic is re-releasing the Fourth Doctor comics in monthly issues as well.

Me, I think I'll buy both, just so they know there's a market, y'know? Even if the art's not fab now, I'd like to see the new Doctor Who comic stick around for a long time (and not just because I'd like to do it one day. I just want to be able to pick up Doctor Who comics on a monthly basis that don't cost me eight bucks for five pages of comic).
