(Anonymous) 2008-02-23 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)Okay, point taken on that course. So she wouldn't think of Rose as dead, but she's still someone the Doctor lost, misses, and isn't over her yet. I can't help but think that she never says a single word, well, because after Utopia, there are much more big important things going on than hearing the guy you're crushing on babble about her ex.
But yeah, you make a good point. Okay, I won't do the dead comparison anymore.
I had the same issue with stupid fanfics where the Doctor got angry at Martha or calling him a "plus one".
Brr? 0.o I've never even encountered that one. I hate the ones where the Doctor gets angry at Martha just so the writer can vent though. It's kind of disgusting. Like that secret someone posted awhile back, about the icons and all where it's edited to make it look like the Doctor's telling Martha to STFU and all that. Lame, stupid, and misses the point of the Doctor entirely.
