Shaving his head rather than clinging to the last vestiges of hair works for him. It emphasizes his facial features, which are character filled, and thus interesting.

He's an attractive man. Not drop dead gorgeous, but not unpleasant to look at.

I agree about the hair. Shaving it rather than ignoring the fact it is disappearing is an excellent choice. My hubby always said this is what he would do. Wish he would.

Mature Collins is intriguing and definitely attractive in an approachable way.

Most men look better with a shaved head than very little/very thin hair IMO. Hair just around the back like TNG-era Patrick Stewart is fine, but only if the top is bare.
