Not the OP, but... yeah, I get it. I like 10 and thought he made an excellent Doctor. But in my experience, the people who only like 10 aren't fans of the series, per se, they're fans of David Tennant, in that particular reincarnation.

I'd say the same about people who only like Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and don't like any other adaptations or the ACD stories. They're not ACD fans or even Sherlock Holmes fans, they like one actor, in specific interpretation of a specific role.

Bullshit. Ten is my favorite. I will watch Nine's run because it builds up to Ten, but eh. I like Ten because I like how that character is in the world of Doctor Who. I don't particularly care about Tennant in any other role.

Okay, but you say Ten is you FAVOURITE but not the only doctor you loved.

That is sort of a difference.

It's not true for everyone, but yeah I met Tennant fangirls (and boys) who were only in it for him and to this day complain about him leaving, so I can sort of see OP's point.

DA But OP is being a hypocrite when that can happen and has happened with other Doctors as well. You may see it in a large amount with 10 because you see EVERYTHING in a large amount with 10 because he was a very popular Doctor.

But I've seen people watch Who just for Capaldi. Or give up after 11 things. Nothing that went on in Tennants era was really different then what happens in Who in general.

I adore 10. There's something about his attitude, the way he reacts to the world around him that reminds me of 3 and 4, who will always be my favourites!
