-Wasting, in general. Wasting food, plastic, paper, etc. Using twelve feet of paper towels to dry hands, leaving the water on while brushing teeth, throwing away perfectly good food (instead of planning a smaller meal, or saving leftovers for tomorrow whenever possible). Not recycling. I hate wastefulness.

-People who yell at their pets, especially in a joking way. Like, scream at their cat because they are being funny or dramatic. Your cat doesn't get the joke. Your cat is probably terrified, stressed, and doesn't like you much.

-People who assume others are straight. I get it, most people are straight, but why not ask me "so, are you seeing anyone?" rather than "do you have a boyfriend?" because I'm gay. It's so easy to make it open-ended without being awkward about it.

yesssss especially the first one, but that's probably more to do with the material conservation upbringing I can't seem to get away from.

And that last one too. I get that it's small talk for some folk, but most of the time ime it's folk who are fishing around and trying to gauge whether or not to make a pass at me. yeah yeah not everyone is bi, but jesus just make the pass first, because idgaf unless I already hate you.

I used to clean dishes in a college dining hall. I would miss dinner in order to work, and I would have to throw away perfectly good dinners that were practically untouched. I felt like I was being taunted.
