(Anonymous) 2015-12-09 12:38 am (UTC)(link)Unfortunately, this was a rather long name to memorize, so everyone called it Sondra for short. Sondra did not like this, but accepted it because it was a highly intelligent being and understood that everyone was much dumber than it was.
Everyone except for its wonderful boyfriend, Hulk. Hulk understood the pain in its tortured soul, and Hulk called it by its full name because he too was a tortured soul and also brilliant and it wasn't his fault if no one understood his brilliance because they were too dumb.
"Hulk, I am in love with you please marry me," said Sondra one day while they were on a romantic walk in a park full of flowers and chirping ducks and squirrels.
"HULK NOT SURE IF HULK READY FOR THAT LEVEL OF COMMITTMENT," said Hulk.
Sondra started crying, except not really because it was armour and armour can't cry no matter how alive and sentient and intelligent it is. It was more like imaginary crying, so it was all taking place in Sondra's mind and no one actually could perceive it happening except Sondra itself. Hulk did perceive it though, because he was very intelligent.
"WELL, MAYBE HULK WILL CONSIDER PROPOSAL OF MARRIAGE... IF SONDRA PROMISE TO LET HULK TOUCH CODPIECE."
Sondra gasped. It never imagined Hulk to be capable of saying something so crude in public!
"Hulk that is a very sensitive area I can't just let you touch it all willy-nilly."
"BUT THAT IS HULK'S FETISH."
"Fine, okay. Marriage first, though! I'm not that kind of girl!"
They got married. The ceremony was six-and-a-half hours long and all the Avengers attended, as did the Guardians of the Galaxy even though they weren't invited, but Sondra appreciated their guts and non-conformity-to-society's-values which they had displayed in the act of wedding crashing, so it was all cool.
On the wedding night they listened to a Barry White record while Hulk touched Sondra's codpiece ALL NIGHT LONG.
