What you said. I've dropped series because I was tired of getting a sexiness report on every damn woman who appeared in text every time she showed up.

I also really hate 1st person books.

When did he get better? I flipped through one of the later books a while ago, considering giving it a second chance, and there was a bunch of skeevy shit about his friend's daughter who he was training. She was underage.

Ew. I hadn't heard that. Maybe I'll just stay out.

Was about to say the same thing, though it took me a few books to twig that it was happening every time a female character showed up.

Seriously. It got to the point where I was expecting him to write "she looked like a grandma, but with a great rack and these long, long legs and incredibly shapely thighs that any hotblooded man would need to think about"

I hate 1st person too, but what I am absolutely allergic to is 2nd person. The only thought in my head reading 2nd person is NO FUCK YOU I DO NOT FEEL THAT WAY I DO NOT THINK THAT FUCK YOU.

Reading second person is some kind of torture.

2nd person may do okay if I know it's one character talking to another character, but I just hate the idea of a character talking to the reader.

I really hate second person in REVIEWS. That, to me, is even worse than reading it in fiction.
