Tumblr and Twitter were on a double date with LJ and DW in a nice non-hipster-infested cafe/karaoke bar located a little down the street from the same hotel they'd all stayed in during WebsiteCon 2014.

It was a pretty tense date. LJ kept grinding her teeth and glaring at Tumblr, who seemed incapable of keeping her big stupid mouth shut for a second. She kept going on and on about how ALL THE FANDOMS loved her SO MUCH these days. Basically, rubbing salt in the wound.

"So you know, the Homestucks, they're REALLY into me," said Tumblr, flipping her hair like one of those bitchy girls in high school. "You never got too acquainted with them, did you LJ? I mean, they didn't start showing up until you were already going out of style... such a pity."

Steam shot out of LJ's ears, but she didn't say anything. Underneath the table, Dreamwidth gave her girlfriend's hand a sympathetic squeeze.

Twitter, entirely oblivious to all the EXTREME TENSION, giggled girlishly. "Heh heh, you said pity. That rhymes with titty!"

"Speaking of titties, let me tell you about Steven Universe," said Tumblr. "Did you know it's FULL of positive female role models? Not that you'd understand the importance of that, LJ. You were always so obsessed with Harry Potter and Supernatural and other boring things with white male protagonists. So uncool."

Upon hearing this, LJ was no longer able to contain herself. She slammed her fist down on the table and screamed, "STEVEN UNIVERSE HAS A WHITE MALE PROTAGONIST TOO, YOU FUCKING MORON. I'M SICK OF LISTENING TO YOU FLAP YOUR STUPID, HYPOCRITICAL, OVERLY-LIPSTICKED LIPS." She turned to DW and said, "COME ON DREAMWIDTH, WE'RE DITCHING THESE ASSCLOWNS." She then stormed out of the cafe. DW got up and followed her, but not without briefly glancing backward and shrugging apologetically at Tumblr and Twitter.

"Well gosh, what crawled up HER ass?" Tumblr said in a bewildered voice, after they left.

"Heh heh, you said ASS!" Twitter snickered.
