They angsted together some more, but without acknowledging the homoeroticism between them, because that would make things less angsty.
Then a HYDRA agent walked into the room and said, "Oh my gawd, get a fucking room you two."
Steve punched the HYDRA agent in the face, because he was evil and that is what Captain America does to evil people (especially HYDRA agents, those guys are the worst).
"That was hot," said Bucky. It turned him on when Steve punched things and people.
"Bucky you are supposed to say angst," Steve chided.
"Oops, sorry let me try again: that was hot, and also AAAAAAAANGST," said Bucky.
"That's better," said Steve.
Then they smooched, which is not a very angsty thing to do, but Steve was crying a little so it still technically qualified as angst.
