Stella was having a very bad day. When she first got up that morning, there was a ton of construction going on right outside her house, and it was extremely loud and annoying. Then when she went to the store to buy some ear plugs, she was almost hit by a car. Miraculously, she survived by doing an impromptu epic backflip over the car's hood. Unfortunately, her nose started to bleed right afterwards. Stella took a tampon out of her purse and shoved up her nose, hoping it would put a stop to the bleeding, but it didn't.

Fortunately, there happened to be a doctor nearby, who was on his way to the very same store Stella was going to, although his intention was to buy low-fat yogurt, not ear plugs.

The doctor went up to Stella and inspected her bleeding nose.

"It's definitely lupus," said the doctor, who was named House.

"No it's not," said Stella.

"I'm a doctor, I know lupus when I see it," said House, who was a doctor

"I don't believe you," said Stella.

"Okay, I was just screwing with you," House admitted.

There was awkward silence between them. Then, because this is a Soulmate AU, Stella looked down at the words on her wrist. The words that said, "It's definitely lupus." They were glowing.

"Oh fuck," said Stella.

House pulled up his shirt and looked at the words on his stomach. "No it's not." They were also glowing.

"Looks like we're soulmates," he said.

Stella sighed. "Yeah, it does seem that way, doesn't it?"

They went to Applebee's for lunch together, and they probably had hot sex later on.
