I haven't noticed Lewis being any more of an ass than he's always been. (Which is to say, not much of one? A lot of his jerk tendencies seem more like part of his try-hard youtube persona than who he actually is irl.)

I suspect they probably broke up because sometimes that's just how shit works out. They still seem to get along really well, and if Lewis was really such a jerk you'd think there'd be some sign of tension between him and the other Yogs.
