(Kirsten Dunst as Peggy Blumquist in Fargo)

Exactly the same with me. I actually burst out laughing when she first did it. I wanted her to die for weeks and now I want her to live happily ever after. As long as Ed survives too and she stays as bonkers as she is.

What happened?

It's really complicated, but... SPOILER ALERT...

Peggy and her husband Ed got caught up in this crime war between a local crime family and the Kansas City gang, because Peggy accidentally killed a member of the local family with her car and then covered it up. So the local family is after her and Ed, but they think Ed is also a criminal called "The Butcher" (because he is literally a butcher) when he's really sort of a doofus while Peggy is a repressed housewife who's obsessed with "actualizing" via some bullshit self improvement seminar.

So the local family comes after Peggy and Ed at their house, but Peggy manages to surprise their leader, shock him with a cattle prod, and she and Ed stuff him in their car trunk to see if they can bargain him back to his family in exchange for their safety. A dumb plan, but they're goofballs, so that's what they come up with. They spirit the guy (who is a total asshole) away to a cabin in the woods, and tie him to a chair. Ed goes back into town to call the family, and Peggy's left alone with the bad guy. The bad guy mouths off and is generally nasty, so she totally stabs him in the chest a couple times until he promises to behave.

Only it's a lot, lot funnier. Fargo season two-- highly recommended, even if you haven't seen season one.

I was laughing my ass off during that scene, and also when Dodd had to piss into the kettle. The entire episode was insane, hilarious, and shocking, and I think Kirsten Dunst was the standout actor.

I should have realised she had comedic talent because she was very funny in Bring It On all those years ago.

FARGO

Damn I love this show, and NO ONE that I know watches it!
Kirsten Dunst has been fantastic on this show so far. The faces Dodd were making at her were priceless. I'm so excited for the finale next week!

I didn't recognize Kirsten Dunst on the pic. Must have been a while that I haven't seen her, and I still think of her as very young. I'm feeling old suddenly.

FARGO LOVE \o/

I think that episode turned it around for a lot of people, tbh. Kirsten Dunst is sooo interesting and charming to watch as Peggy. I still think she's pretty scary, manipulative and delusional, but yeah, there is something endearing about how fierce and plucky she is. She really did realize...something XD

I root for Ed a little more, but if those two somehow came out of everything without a scratch, I wouldn't mind.
