Yepppp. I think it's 10x more cringey for me because I KNOW I used to be like that and I would just steamroll over people in conversations, and I thought everyone must obviously be fascinated by my unfinished novel ideas.

I'm a lot more forgiving of that than rude, unasked-for "criticism", though. I actually left after my "friend" started going on at that other writer. The awkwardness was just unbearable.
