There's some speculation that the lizard thing is code for Jewish people because of similarities to anti-semitic ideas.

I thought it was past speculation and into "the Jews are literally shapeshifting lizards" territory. I mean, he was a huge fan of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Is it? I wasn't sure how accepted that was vs how many people would react to this by complaining about how even a ridiculous conspiracy theory is turned into a social justice issue.
