Yeah, it's stupid, but it's also obviously about a girl lusting after her female friend. The "kitty" double entendre just adds to the gay.

Was this actually popular? I never heard it on the radio or anything, but I don't listen to thaaat much radio so idk.

IMO Cool For the Summer was not a bad girl/girl song that showed up on the radio, even if it was just basically a way more tolerable "I Kissed a Girl"

I just looked up "Cool for the Summer" and daaaaaamn that is catchy, it's gonna be stuck in my head for the rest of the night for sure.
