AYRT

Ughhhhhhh, special snowflake syndrome. I'm sorry, but I just can't with writers who act like being creative is some kind of magical, mystical thing that you're innately born with. Usually overlaps with going on about how "I totally hear my characters you guys isn't that special", because mental illness is a quirky addition to your personality!

I can't stand that glossing over of the real work that goes into writing, either, as if he just has a direct connection to The Muse. It's hard work and planning and dedication. You don't just sit there and poop out a novel.

but he is confused over the fact that he doesn't have hooves! That is really special! The creative process for him is a mystical journey through the Veil which separates this world and a parallel universe.
Clearly you are just jealous because you have to work hard writing. Patrick Rothfuss just communes with the Astral Plane. One day, he will be taken from us completely, subsumed by that other world which has its claws in him already.

he needs to hurry up and commune with the Astral Plane already, he's getting tiresome
