I love Amelia, though I liked her better on Private Practice. I don't hate her with Owen, but he worked so much better with Christina. Which makes sense since he was written into the show specifically for her character.

I love Amelia, but I think that's because of a combo of hating Meredith and loving Caterina Scorsone since Power Play.

I think she's really obnoxious, though. Yeah, Christina could be obnoxious too, but in a different way, one that didn't, usually, grate on me, like Amelia. My distaste for Amelia started back when she called Christina a dud because of Christina's PTSD after the shooting. There are moments that I have liked Amelia, but they are few and far between.

It's strange. I liked her on Private Practice but she's been just awful on Grey's. She's incredibly selfish, which - okay. A lot of those characters are. But she's mean with it. She's cruel. Only her pain matters. She mocks everyone else for theirs. It's obnoxious.

I've only watched one single episode with her on Grey's Anatomy yet, so I can't really say anything about her character. But I love the actress, so I guess that gives Amelia kind of a bonus in advance. My favourite is still her role Jess Mastriani on Missing - and I shipped her and Vivica A. Fox so much!

Also, yay, I get to use my Caterina Scorsone icon! *g*
