Intensely transparent attempt to start some racial arguing. My fiancee is half Estonian. Her entire huge extended family on that side are like male and female clones of one another. All of their friends and neighbors? Ditto. Pretty much everyone in that country is pale and blonde- watch a video clip of their song and dance festivals. It's surreal. Could Estonia be portrayed by a muscly black man? Sure, why not. But is it more justifiable? Why? Also why?

I know that there are folks on fandomsecrets that get a big kick out of trolling the readership into fighting one another, but considering the racial tensions in the US right now, this is just tasteless. And if this is meant to be taken seriously, OP, you're not morally superior for thinking black=better. That's just fetishizing.

This just in: everyone on F!S is (or should be) American, and secrets that have absolutely nothing to do with American politics MUST be interpreted through that lens!

(Also, the characters pictured in that secret are Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. Estonia is irrelevant.)

I'm German and I see and care about the racial problems the US have right now. Because they're here as well, just nobody usually owns a gun. Still a big problem, not only a US specific one.

Okay, that's a reasonable answer. But it still has nothing to do with this secret. Even if we are to assume that the secret is a troll (which it almost certainly is, let's not kid ourselves), what does it have to do with America's racial problems?

Answer: absolutely nothing.

OP of this sub-thread accused this secret's creator of trying to start race wank, but ironically they themselves did much, much more to promote race wank by bringing up the current racial tension in America while commenting on a dumb troll secret that was clearly intended as a joke and has absolutely nothing to do with racial tension in America.

Hate to burst your bubble, but racial issues are a huge issue for EVERY Western country right now, not just the US.
