He did spend the whole game desperately trying to prove he's good enough to be in the Royal Guard and expresses legitimate surprise that anybody wants to date him, after all. Even if he immediately goes back to posing that he's the BEST EVER and O-OF COURSE YOU DO. While checking every five seconds to see if you're still paying attention.

So, I'm scrolling down AO3, and I see this fic that Sans/Papyrus, tagged with various kinks that require a corporeal form (knotting, for example), and wasn't tagged with a human!au tag

so I read it, to figure out how the fuck that even works (the answer was magic)

dom!Papyrus was fucking scary man. It took place in a post-neutral run where he was king, and it was really fucked up.
