No, I don't personally have the luxury of working in casting. But I do go out of my way to buy single-issue comics with good representation and diverse casts, and recommend them to people, and blog about them and discuss them. I also avoid giving my money to films which take the piss, like Singer's X-Men movies. Screw any film which gives me a live-action Darwin who DIES.
When I said "fight for" I was being both curt and enthusiastic. I meant "emphatically support" and "seek out."
