Weekend Plans

I am going to try and make homemade ciabatta rolls tomorrow for chicken salad sandwiches! And then I have to make like 5 dozen sugar cookies. Sunday I am finally going to go see the new Hunger Games and THEN I have to make cinnamon rolls to bring to work Monday. So my weekend is full of baking things.

What are you all up to (the week before Christmas)?

Tonight: drinks with friend A. Tomorrow: coffee with friend B, then dinner and drinks with friend C.

Also probably trying to finish up Christmas shopping (only my brother left).

Should be decent.

My SO has returned! So probably a bunch of stuff with her family and then probably a bunch of getting read for Xmas and then also probably a few meetings and some lab stuff.

Those rolls sound really good. If they out good, you'll have to share the recipe (if you've already made them, please share) I love baking, I'm baking gingerbread tomorrow for a holiday party tomorrow night.

Also finishing last minute Christmas shopping and then Sunday, not sure yet. If I finish wrapping presents early enough, maybe going to see Star Wars again.

I'm going to test drive a car. Not buying it, not sure about the money situation. But test driving and thinking about it.

If after work on Friday counts as the weekend, I bought a new dress to celebrate being a bamf grant writer. I'll be wearing it on New Years Eve.

I'm heading back home for the break, and then doing whatever my Mum wants to do, since I'm the only other one in the family that really "does" Christmas. Maybe cookies?

Christmas party with the chunk of my partner's family I don't like.

I hate that fucking "bring a gift and we'll choose randomly, and then steal stuff!!!!!" game.

Well there's a large uncontrolled fire 1.5 km away from me so I've got everything packed up and just watching the updates. Tomorrow will be similar i expect.

I'm going to be distracting myself from my depression with probably a marathon of favorite animes and food shows, and maybe a few movies. It sucks because right now I'm missing my fiancee, I feel like no one in this damn family cares about me, and Christmas is generally stressful anyway.

As to whether Sailor Moon Crystal, One Punch Man, The F Word, Cake Boss, Catching Fire, and Age of Extinction will help I know not.

Last of my Christmas shopping is done (except buying for myself) so I'm just gonna sit back, relax, play video games, and wait for the real holiday, on Tuesday. (My birthday.)

Finishing my Christmas shopping, finally getting my Christmas tree put up, doing some writing.

These homemade ciabatta rolls intrigue me. If they turn out well, will you give me your recipe? I love making homemade bread.

I really should go back into BG2 and get Jaheira poisoned, Nalia kidnapped, maybe tackle Shadow Thief odd jobs, and get around to doing the whole Unseeing Eye quest chain so I finally have Keldorn and can go do Windspear Hills (I want Keldorn in team for Ajantis).

Other than my waiting game I don't really have anything planned, like usual.
