I've read lots and lots of articles and stories of women who said that killgrave reminded them of their rapist and the abusive tactics they inflicted. So I really don't think the backlash is as hyprocritical and illogical as you make it out to be.

Honestly though I've seen way more people whine about how "everyone's so mean to me because I like a rapist character!! ;__;" then actual people hating on killgrave fans but whatever.
